Q: What You Love About Being a Chair One Fitness Instructor?
A: Getting Veterans active and emotional happy to engage into modified physical activity
A: Walking, reading, racquetball
Q: Name a challenge…
A: Being able to accommodate everyone physical needs in a group session. I was able to bring down the tempo of a song and repeat same movement instead of focusing on the routine being perfect. Sometimes you have to adjust to your audience if their motion is more delayed than what you anticipate but never let them know you had to slow it down. Take every change with a smile
Q: Precious Moment
A: Funny moment, introducing my older female Veterans to "Old Town RoaD". Most already knew the song and twirl better than I did seated. It let me know I can update the songs. They almost listen to everything.
Q: Fun Facts
A: I zip line in Vail Colorado upside down above 200 feet. One College job, I work at RusselL Stover Candy factory, lost a lot of weight that summer. When you are around chocolate all day, you actually don‰ŰŞt want to see or smell it! Lol
Q: Pop of Color
A: Hot pink shoes or pants!
